Choosing the right LMS can be tricky!
Here are five things you should consider when choosing an LMS:
1. Extra materials
Are there any extra materials, such as eBooks, white papers and marketing materials, that will help you with your learning strategy? When an organisation has lots of useful extras, it often shows two things; they are credible and they care about helping you.
2. Support team
Like with anything digital, it’s always reassuring to have technical support at your fingertips. Make sure you check that there is dedicated tech support at hand to swoop in and save the day if any complications arise.
3. Price
An LMS can be a pricey investment, albeit an essential one. Always ensure that you are getting your money’s worth with a cost-effective system. And keep an eye out for any pesky hidden charges!
4. Look beyond the LMS
What else comes in the package? Are there free events? Is there a forum that can give you advice when you feel stuck? Make sure that you receive a list of extra benefits so that you can make the best decision for your organisation.
5. Have you taken a test drive?
You’d never buy a car without test driving it first, right? So how can you fully understand what an LMS system has to offer without seeing it for yourself? Having a demo also offers the perfect opportunity to ask any questions that you may have.
