The personalised benchmark report we received has provided a framework for learning technology strategy and implementation that I keep coming back to – in essence it has helped me to define my objectives, highlighting areas where we can further develop a culture of learning.” Royal National Lifeboat Institution
Free access for CLC members to the Towards Maturity Benchmark Centre, worth £600
The Charity Learning Consortium (CLC) has partnered with the highly regarded research organisation Towards Maturity and we encourage all our members to take part in its annual learning technologies benchmark.
The Towards Maturity benchmark is the largest in Europe with 1,800 organisations having taken part since 2003. It allows Consortium members to compare their use of learning technologies against the industry’s best. This provides a baseline for an annual review, to chart improvements in performance and reduction in costs.
In 2011, an astonishing 73% of participants reported that just taking part in the study had given them new ideas to improve the impact of their learning technologies.
Those that benchmark don’t have to reinvent the wheel!
Entering the benchmark – what’s involved?
Allow between 40 minutes to an hour to carry out the online Benchmark (which can be completed by members in the Towards Maturity Benchmark Centre). On completion, members can immediately generate their free personalised benchmark report. If they complete this during June and July 2012, they also receive a complimentary paper entitled 101 Tips for Success.
Reap the benefits…
Free access to the Towards Maturity online Benchmark Centre is provided for all our members, worth £600 per organisation. As premium users, our members receive a detailed personalised benchmark report and a list of recommended actions tailored to their organisation.
The Benchmark Centre holds existing data so members can review their benchmark on an on-going basis and keep up-to-date with the latest research to help them improve performance. There are lots of useful resources in the Centre as well – including case studies, videos, hints, tips and How To guides. All free to CLC members!
Members of the Consortium are encouraged to both join the Benchmark Centre and take part in the annual survey, to provide them with a route to learning technology success.
With more than 100 members, the Consortium provides a vital forum to discuss best practice in the charity and not-for-profit sector. Our benchmark is popular among these communities and for many years we have supported the Consortium’s aim to provide cost effective eLearning to the Third Sector.” Laura Overton, Managing Director of Towards Maturity
