The CLC Green Credentials
It is one of our aims that we operate our business in as environmentally friendly manner as possible. To this end we are proud that we have taken the following steps.
- We try to minimise our use of paper. We do not produce a printed brochure - all of the information is available on our website. Alternatively we send information via email, which greatly reduces the amount of paper used and is much more energy and carbon efficient than physically sending hard copy material.
- We operate a recycling policy - all recyclable waste is stored in a recycle bin and removed by a recycle waste service. The CLC also ensures that all print cartridges and toners are removed and recycled through an appropriate service.
- CLC tries to reduce the waste of energy as much as possible by turning off all lights when leaving a room or when there is enough daylight to be sufficient.
- CLC do not use plastic cups.
- CLC pledge to plant a tree for every new customer. Each customer will receive a certificate regarding the tree planted. The more charities sign up - the more trees we will plant!
